Uppity Cracker

Uppity Cracker is an independent record label created by Mindless Self Indulgence frontman Little Jimmy Urine and James Galus, which the band has used to distribute numerous promos, as well as "Tight," The Left Rights, "Alienating Our Audience," and "Despierta Los Niños." Uppity Cracker has also worked in conjunction with both Warner Brothers Music (for "Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy"), as well as Metropolis (for "You'll Rebel To Anything"),and The End Records (for "If").

Thus far, only three bands have released material on Uppity Cracker. Besides Mindless Self Indulgence, both their side project The Left Rights and New York rappop group The O have each released one album through Uppity Cracker [ [http://www.discogs.com/label/Uppity+Cracker Uppity Cracker ] ] . The O has since left the label (and later disbanded) following a dispute with James Galus, resulting in them being thrown off a tour with Mindless Self Indulgence. While there has been no further collaboration between the bands, early advertising photos showed Urine posing with a copy of former The O vocalist Gonna Get Got's debut album.
