Telecommunications User Association of New Zealand

The Telecommunications User Association of New Zealand (TUANZ) represents 500 corporate end users of telecommunications in New Zealand, with a stated mission to "...raise New Zealand into the OECD’s Top 10 countries in information and communications technologies with a special focus on communications...".

Formed in 1986, the not-for-profit organisation's activities include lobbying the government, working with the telecommunications industry and organising networking events in the major cities.

Events

TUANZ Telecommunications Day - this is an annual event. 2006 speakers included the CEOs of Telecom and Vodafone New Zealand and the CFO of TelstraClear in addition to international keynote speakers.
