Toronto's Festival of Beer

Toronto's Festival of Beer is an annual festival celebrating beer. It is held each year at Fort York in Toronto. In adidtion to beer vendors, food, live music, and other exhibitors are also present. A related festival took place in Ottawa at one point, but it was discontinued several years ago.

First held in 1995, the festival hosts major and microbreweries from Canada and abroad.

2007

The 2007 festival ran from Thursday, August 9th until Sunday, August 12th and was sponsored by The Beer Store. The closing band to perform was The Mahones. Non-beer exhibitors included the CFL Toronto Argonauts, among others. Television personality and cookbook author Ted Reader also gave demonstrations on grilling.
