Return of the Polar Bear is Nine Miles' second studio album. Here, Manabe relies less on reverbs and ambiance and more on traditional reggae guitar and powerful bass lines. For the most part, the vocals use less effects and are more natural sounding than on Solomonic Polar Bear. Heart is There was covered by the pillows.
