Roscrea railway station

Roscrea railway station serves the town of Roscrea in County Tipperary, Ireland.

The station opened on 19 October 1857. [cite web | title=Roscrea station | work=Railscot - Irish Railways | url=http://www.railscot.co.uk/Ireland/Irish_railways.pdf | accessdate=2007-09-07] Roscrea is connected to the Irish railway network on a branch from Limerick to Ballybrophy (where it joins the main Cork-Dublin line). At one time there was a branch from Roscrea to nearby Birr in County Offaly.
