"U218 Singles" (originally titled "U218") is a greatest hits-style compilation album by the Irish rock band U2. This album was released in Ireland on 17 November 2006, in Australia on 18 November 2006, in the UK on 20 November 2006, and in the US on 21 November 2006. It contains eighteen songs altogether—sixteen of their most well-known and successful singles, as well as "The Saints Are Coming" (in collaboration with Green Day) and a new song, [ [http://www.u2.com/news/index.php?mode=full&news_id=2004 U2.com | Official News ] ] "Window in the Skies." "I Will Follow" appears as a bonus track on UK and Australian editions of the CD. A limited edition version includes a live DVD featuring ten songs recorded on the Vertigo Tour in Milan. For the U.S. version, it does not come with a digital booklet, but instead with "Smile" as a bonus track even if it hasn't been pre-ordered. The cover is a photoshoot of U2 taken in Dublin in 1979. From left to right, still in their teens at the time, are Clayton, Mullen, Bono and The Edge.
