Melinda O'Neal is a conductor of choral music and choral-orchestral music. She was music director and conductor of the Handel Society of Dartmouth College from 1979–2004, and in 2002 co-founded the vocal ensemble Sonique. She was principal guest conductor of the Hanover Chamber Orchestra 1991-2004 and was guest conductor-in-residence at the Seattle Symphony Orchestra Chorale. She is now artistic director and conductor of Handel Choir of Baltimore[1] and continues half-time as professor of music at Dartmouth (1979-present), teaching courses in conducting and music theory.
