Eluned Morgan (1870 –
December 29 1938 ), was aWelsh language author fromPatagonia .She was born aboard the ship Myfanwy "en route" to Patagonia, the daughter of Lewis Jones who gave his name to the city of
Trelew . She was partly educated inWales , between 1903 and 1909, and worked for a time inCardiff Central Library until her return to Patagonia in 1918.She wrote numerous articles on literature and life in
Y Wladfa (the Welsh settlement in Patagonia) for Welsh periodicals such as Cymru, edited byOwen Morgan Edwards , but is chiefly remembered for her two books about Patagonia and theIncas , "Dringo'r Andes" (1904) and "Plant yr Haul" (1915).Bibliography
