- Nick Politis
-
Born in 1942, Nick Politis is an Australian car salesman and major shareholder of WFM Motors Pty Ltd and Australian Health Care Ltd. He is most notable for running and expanding the former from March 1974, rebranding its marketing name as "City Ford", transforming it into one of the largest Ford dealerships in Australia, and controlling the latter in its failed sorties into the Australian hospital market, including the celebrated LaTrobe Regional Hospital fiasco, where tens of millions were lost in disastrous contract management. His business has been sponsors of the Sydney Roosters since 1976, and from 1993 Politis is the Chairman of the Sydney Roosters' Board of Directors.
