Ramón Enrique Maradiaga Chávez (born
October 30 ,1954 inAmapala ,Honduras ) is a retired Honduran football player. Currently, he is coach of theGuatemala national football team .Nicknamed 'Primitivo', Maradiaga has played as a midfielder amongst others for Motagua,
Club Deportivo Aguila and he was part of theHonduras national football team that took part in the1982 FIFA World Cup .After his playing career ended, he has been rather successful as a coach. He had been in charge of the
Guatemala national football team in recent years, but his contract was however terminated after they failed to reach the 2006FIFA World Cup qualification play-offs. He has also coached Motagua, Victoria,Club Deportivo Aguila and theHonduras national football team .
