Allan Henry Shafto Adair

Major General Sir Allan Henry Shafto Adair, 6th Baronet GCVO, CB, DSO , MC and Bar, Mentioned in Dispatches four times (3 November 1897 in London - 4 August 1988) was a British Army general. During World War II he commanded Guards Armoured Division from 12 September 1942 until the end of the war.
