Ontario, Canada is a village in Central Frontenac Township,Frontenac County , located at the intersection of Highway 38 and Highway 7 (theTrans-Canada Highway ). It has tourist-oriented shops and accommodations. Located in the Land O'Lakes Tourist Region, there are many lakes in the area that are used for outdoor recreation. TheSharbot Lake Provincial Park also has hiking trails and camp sites.Sharbot Lake was once an important stop on the
Kingston and Pembroke Railway .Sharbot Lake hosts
