Phanatic

Phanatic is the highly talented Kfir Lankry. He was born and still lives in the city of Dimona, south of Israel. Kfir discovered electronic music when he was 10 years old and began producing it later at the age of 13.

His musical influences vary as he has a wide musical culture, including chill out, drum n bass, techno, progressive house, classical, and World Music. Kfir already performs in many concerts and festivals all around the world and has yet performed in Canada, Portugal, Mexico, Serbia, Japan, Brazil, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Hungary, and of course his native country Israel and many more.

Kfir was part of the dissolved project "Bizzare Contact" with his ex-teammate Didi, but the duo split up after releasing a notable album called "Plastic Fantastic" on the label Com.pact Records. He pursued his solo mayhem with his new project Phanatic.

Phanatic's style is a merger of old psytrance sound along with the latest full on psytrance and melodic psytrance, reflecting his experienced background.

Phanatic has been featured on the most successful compilations in the global scene, on labels such as: Utopia Records, Com.pact Records, Mind Control Records, Magma Records, and Planet B.E.N., and is still very active in the domain.

He released his first album under the name Phanatic in 2006, the album was called "In My Head" and achieved good critical success among the psytrance underground scene.

On April 24, 2008 he released his second studio album, "Outsider", a new exploration of the deep and exciting full-on sound he's been producing in the last years.
