Félix Dja Ettien (born 26 September 1979 in Abidjan) is an Ivorian football player who last played for Levante UD in Spain, usually as a powerfully built, stamina-filled midfielder. He also holds a Spanish passport due his years spent in Spain. Ettien came to prominence as a youngster, when playing for the Ivory Coast in the 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship. His performances prompted a swoop from Spanish side Levante UD, who also signed compatriot Idrissa Keita. However, far from being a dream move, it soon became a nightmare. Shortly after signing, Ettien's agent disappeared with all his money, then-Levante coach ignored him, and relationship with teammates proved difficult due to his lack of knowledge of the language. He eventually fought back to be one of Levante's most important players, as the team were twice promoted and relegated during his ten-year stay on the side from the Valencian Community.
