Engin Atsür (born April 2, 1984 in İstanbul, Turkey), is a professional basketball player from Turkey and a member of the Turkish national basketball team. Atsür played amateur basketball in the United States at NCAA Division 1 North Carolina State University from 2003-2007. He is 6 feet 3 ¾ inches tall and weighs 200 pounds.

Biography

Engin Atsür started playing basketball in the successful Turkish club Efes Pilsen S.K. Engin attended high school at Saint-Benoit French High School. Atsür was a starting shooting guard/point guard for NC State all four years. He was considered by NCAA coaches to be one of the most underrated guards in the ACC. Atsür is also a member of the Turkish national team, and figured in Turkey's squad that finished sixth in the 2006 FIBA World Championship held in Japan.
