Talikulam

Talikulam is a small Panchayath (or a village) in Thrissur District of Kerala State in India.

Its beaches are a natural beauty, not yet destroyed by the urban revolution in India. Language - Malayalam (Primary language in Kerala)

Talikulam is located on the NH-17 and is a developing center along the Kodungallur-Guruvayoor route. It is heavily influenced by the Middle-East (Persian Gulf) economy since a large majority of the work force is employed there.

It has a few notable residents, especially Gulfar Mohammed Ali of the Gulfar group, the Kanchi family who own the Lulu chain of stores in the Middle-East and the founders of Mannapuram Finance (technically in Nattika).
