The "Arkansas Traveller" (1858) is a famous American painting by Edward Payson Washburn depicting an encounter between a wealthy traveller and a family of squatters.

The painting was later immortalized as a Currier & Ives lithograph. Inspiration for the painting's subject came from the humorous song of the same name by Colonel Sanford 'Sandy' Faulkner.
