HelpArgentina

HelpArgentina is an United States-based 501(c)(3) non-profit non-governmental organization that acts as a bridge, connecting the international community with responsible, efficient, and transparent organizations in the Argentine social sector. In many ways, it is a diaspora philanthropy institution that provides a platform for individuals to support over 50 Argentine non-profit organizations either as donors or volunteer fundraisers.

They work with institutions such as the Open Society Institute (OSI), the Tinker Foundation and the World Bank to promote organizational best practices and accountability in the Argentine non-profit sector.

Other initiatives promote individual participation and donation. One example is HelpArgentina Night [http://www.helpargentina.org/nocheha.php] , a night of simultaneous benefit dinners hosted by individuals all over the world. Another is the HelpArgentina Prize which annually recognizes 5 individuals who have supported Argentine social causes from abroad.

In addition, HelpArgentina operates InsightArgentina, a program offering volunteer and internship positions in the provinces of Jujuy, Salta, and Buenos Aires.
