Draft Resister (song)

"Draft Resister" is a Vietnam era antiwar protest song by Steppenwolf. It appeared on the album "Monster" which was released in 1969. It tells the story of a man who volunteered to be a soldier and then deserted when he saw what it was all about. The song goes on to praise those who oppose conscription.
