- Kalligudi
Kalligudi is a small town in
Tirumangalam Taluk ofMadurai district in theIndia n state ofTamil Nadu .It is located 15 Kilometers south of
Tirumangalam .The Thirumangalmm constituencey representative even in the preindependent state of Tammilnadu was represented by Mr. A.K.A.Ramachandra Reddiar who was a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and sunsequently was a Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) too who was very close to Mr. Kamaraj Nadar who became the Chief minister of the state subsequently, hailed from a near by hamlet of Kalligudi Chatthram that was known as Agathapatty village.
