Bolotnoye ( _ru. Боло́тное, lit. "Swampy") is a town in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia, located some 126 km northeast of Novosibirsk. Population: 17,600 (2005 est.); 18,170 (2002 Census); 20,006 (1989 Census).

Bolotnoye was founded in 1805 as a settlement near the Siberian Route ( _ru. Сибирский тракт) and one of its offshoots to Barnaul. The name of the town derives from the Russian word "boloto" ( _ru. болото, or swamp). It was granted town status in 1943.
