Falkner Island Lighthouse is a lighthouse in Connecticut,
United States, off of Guilford Harbor on Long Island Sound.

History

Falkner Island Lighthouse was built on Falkner Island in 1802.cite web|url=http://www.uscg.mil/history/weblighthouses/LHCT.asp|title=Coast Guard Lighthouses|accessdate=2008-09-08] In 1856, the light was upgraded from lamps to a fourth order Fresnel lens. The light was automated in 1978 and flashes a white light every ten seconds.
