Ian Rutledge

Ian Rutledge

Ian Gregory Rutledge (born June 24, 1972 in Cudal, New South Wales) is a field hockey coach, who was born in Australia. He took over the reins of the New Zealand Women’s Hockey Team from former international Jan Borren after the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. Prior to that Rutledge was Men's Hockey National Training Centre Coach in Canberra, and has also been an assistant coach of the Australian Men's Team. He coached "The Black Sticks" at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, where the team ended up sixth in the final rankings.
