Waterwitch or Water Witch is a common name for ships. Some ships known by this name include:

*CSS "Water Witch", the name of a Confederate States Navy gunboat. About Oct 2007, Georgia Department of Transportation using a magnetometer located metal objects under 10 feet of mud in the Vernon River where the wreck is supposed to be.
