Started in September 2007, TMJ currently generates more than 1.5 lakh hits per month and above 1300 story views per day. Although an initiative started and run by students of the college, TMJ remains unaffiliated to MIC or the Manipal University. The idea of being a part of more than 20 reporters, 10 photographers, sub-editors and a technical team is to explore and learn all aspects of true journalism, reporting, writing and web coding. Unpaid and true news is a rare in media but the reporters and the editorial team of this site make sure they do not fall in to that trap. Visit www.themanipaljournal.com to keep update with news in and around the student town.
