Roberto Zaldívar

Roberto Zaldívar, MD is an Argentine doctor who is one of the foremost ophthalmologists and refracting surgeons in the world.Fact|date=March 2008 He is credited for several breakthroughs in the use of lasers to correct visual impairments. His latest breakthrough is a new technique called "“bioptics”", a term introduced by himself. He practices medicine out of his own "Instituto Zaldivar", located in the Argentine city of Mendoza.
