Hana has several different meanings. As a personal name, it is a Jewish variant transliteration of Hannah, meaning the Grace of God, as well as an Arabic female name meaning "happiness" (هَنا), a Persian female name meaning a type of flower (حَنا), and a Kurdish female name. In Japanese it means "flower" (花, 華) or "nose" (鼻), and in Korean it means "one" (1).
