Composting Association

The Association for Organics Recycling (AfOR) formally the Composting Association is the leading trade organisation for the biodegradable waste management industry in the UK British. The association aims to promote the benefits of composting and the sustainable development of organic resources. AfOR has helped to develop the BSI PAS 100 industry standard for composts. The Association's primary focus has been composting but is now involved with anaerobic digestion and certified compostable packaging.

There is a separate branch of the Composting Association for Scotland.
