Palestinian Conciliation Commission

Palestinian Conciliation Commission

The Palestinian Conciliation Commission (PCC) was an organization established by the British following Israel's 1948 War of Independence "in order to help work out a peaceful settlement to the Arab-Israeli conflict" (Eran, 126). Throughout the 1950s, the PCC tried its best to deal with the key issues in the Arab-Israeli conflict, however the commission did not achieve any of its goals and the organization "ceased to function in 1962" (Eran, 126).
