*7 October 1982 - Fred Williamson (33), Protestant off duty member of the Ulster Defence Regiment, was shot by an Irish National Liberation Army sniper while driving to work, Kilmore. His car went out of control and hit the car belonging to Elizabeth Chambers, an off-duty prison warder, causing her death as well.
