Remark: At the time of World War One Newfoundland was a separate colony within the British Empire, and did not become part of Canada until 1940.

New Zealand (2 veterans)

Romania (1 veteran)

Remark: a further 518 men old enough to have served in WW1 died in 1999 in England & Wales. Their veteran status is not yet confirmed. Scottish and Irish records are not checked either.
