A transfer to Premier League sideAston Villa fell through in 1998 because the two clubs involved couldn't agree on a transfer fee. Pavey instead moved to Swedish second division sideLjungskile SK where he remained until the 2005 season, except for a break during the 2002 season.Pavey was signed by AIK in October 2005 and is a regular in the starting line up. He is known for his hard work during matches combined with technical skill.
