Early years
Hyrum was born in
Long Beach, California and is the only child of Robert and Aida Savage. He grew up inWest Los Angeles andSanta Monica where he attended Venice High School,Santa Monica College , andPepperdine University .He was married in 1997 and now lives in the San Diego area with his wife, 4 children, 3
cat s, asnake , aturtle , and a beta fish.Career
Hyrum worked for
Disney Interactive , FreePC, andeMachines , then started OtherWorld Creations (OWC) in 2001 with Dave Webb, Chad Cunningham, and Christopher T. Miller. In 2004 he went to work for Upper Deck Entertainment.Until May 2008 he was the Brand Manager for the New Hobby Games division at Upper Deck Entertainment, as well as the Brand Manager for the Vs. System. He is currently the President of Super Genius Games, a division of OtherWorld Creations that is focusing on support for the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game published by Chaosium.
