The Wichita Wranglers were a minor league baseball team based in Wichita, Kansas. The team, which played in the Texas League, was the Double-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals major-league club from 1995 to 2007, and of the San Diego Padres from 1987 to 1994. The Wranglers played in Lawrence-Dumont Stadium, located in Wichita. Built in 1934 and renovated for the second time in 2001, the park held 6,400 fans.

On July 29, 2006, management announced to players plans to relocate the team to Springdale, Arkansas as early as the 2008 season [http://www.kthv.com/sports/sports.aspx?storyid=32077] . According to Little Rock-area media including "Arkansas Business", the team would be called the Northwest Arkansas Naturals.

Johnny Damon of the New York Yankees played for the Wichita Wranglers in 1995, where he was the Texas League Most Valuable Player.

After the Wranglers moved, the independent American Association moved into Lawrence-Dumont Stadium.
