Rami Dajani was a
United States Army specialist and assigned to1st Cavalry Division (United States) , based inFort Hood ,Texas . OnNovember 24 ,2004 , Rami was in a room with SpecialistCharles Hooser andIraqi citizenLuma Hadi an interpreter for theUnited States Army . Hooser pointed a pistol at Hadi and jokingly shot her in the head, not realizing the gun was loaded, atCamp Liberty ,Baghdad ,Iraq . Rami pleaded guilty for being an accessory after the fact and for filing a false report. Rami was sentenced to 18 months confinement and given areduction in rank and bad conduct discharge.The
