Rami Dajani

Rami Dajani was a United States Army specialist and assigned to 1st Cavalry Division (United States), based in Fort Hood, Texas. On November 24, 2004, Rami was in a room with Specialist Charles Hooser and Iraqi citizen Luma Hadi an interpreter for the United States Army. Hooser pointed a pistol at Hadi and jokingly shot her in the head, not realizing the gun was loaded, at Camp Liberty, Baghdad, Iraq. Rami pleaded guilty for being an accessory after the fact and for filing a false report. Rami was sentenced to 18 months confinement and given a reduction in rank and bad conduct discharge.
