Thomas Curran

The Rev. Thomas B. Curran, O.S.F.S. (born June 29, 1955, in Philadelphia) is a Roman Catholic priest in the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales and president of Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. As of June 2006, he is Rockhurst's fourteenth president and first to not be from the Society of Jesus, the order with which the school is affiliated. He was formerly associate vice president for university relations and assistant to the president at Regis University in Denver.

Fr. Curran is the official Catholic chaplain for the NFL team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

He has earned the following degrees:
*B.A. in politics from DeSales University
*M.A. in theology from DeSales School of Theology
*M.A. in liberal studies, public policy and government from Georgetown University
*J.D. from The Catholic University of America
*M.B.A. from Saint Joseph's University.
