Central Yearly Meeting of Friends

Central Yearly Meeting of Friends

Central Yearly Meeting of Friends is a small group of churches, primarily located in Indiana and Ohio. There are also churches located in Arkansas and North Carolina. Central Friends is also a part of the larger Conservative Holiness Movement.

This group was founded in 1926 by a group that was concerned that the church of which they were then a part was trending towards liberalism in theology and practice. At one time the group consiste dof many more Churches than it does now.

Central Friends has long been associated with Union Bible College. Many teachers and faculty members of UBC have been members of Central Friends.

The group is "Holiness in doctrine".

An annual camp meeting is held near Muncie, Indiana every August.
