- List of Friends schools
This article is a list of schools associated with the
Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). Some institutions founded by Friends were never formally "Quaker Schools." Many historically Friends institutions are no longer formally associated with the Society of Friends. Those that continue to call themselves "Quaker schools" may not have formal oversight from a Friends yearly or
monthly meeting s, but are governed by members of the Society of Friends and adhere to Quaker practice.Because of the wide range of Friends, specifics of the branch (or branches) of Quakerism the school affiliates with are included.
