"Hiding Place" is a Contemporary Christian album of Worship music by Don Moen. It was released on October 17, 2006 by Integrity/Hosanna! Music/Columbia. It is Don Moen's first full-length studio album. In 2007, Integrity Asia released "Platinum Edition" in Singapore. The "Platinum Edition" CD contains a Bonus DVD of unreleased footage.

Background

Most of Moen's albums are live albums. However, Moen wanted to produce a studio album that would not have any applause, so that listeners would be able to enter God's presence. Speaking on this, he said,

cquote|But for this project, I felt that applause would fill up a lot of space that I wanted to leave free for people to 'steal away'; for a moment. The goal is to create an atmosphere that encourages people to enter into God's presence and applause isn't necessary for that to take place.
