"The Oxford Forum" is a termly student magazine distributed to members of Oxford University, and available to others free of charge on request. First released in 2005, the magazine is published by Oxford Student Services Ltd, the commercial branch of OUSU, who also own The Oxford Student and Bang! magazine.

The "Forum" is distinguished among student publications by its serious analysis and debate, prominent contributors and high-end design. The magazine publishes articles from both experts and students.

History

The "Forum" was founded in early 2005 by Zoe Flood with an aim to debate international affairs, British politics, media and culture. Originally founded in conjunction with the Oxford Media Society, the magazine is now published and funded by Oxford Student Services Ltd, the commercial branch of OUSU.

Each issue of the magazine comprises six sections. In its early days, the "Forum" focused on international development, British politics and new media, although the magazine has since expanded its scope to look at a diverse range of issues such as homelessness, devolution, mental health, globalisation, gender, ethics and higher education.
