Westview Middle School

Westview Middle School is located in Greenwood, SC. Its current principal is Mrs. Cynthia Storer and its vice principal is Saul Hill.

General information

Westview opened its doors in 2003 while still in the building process. It is the first of three new middle schools built in Greenwood to replace the district's aging schools. Westview replaced Southside Middle School. The other two schools are Brewer Middle School and Northside Middle School.Westview's students are zoned to go to Emerald High School upon graduation.

Football

In the 2003-2004 school year the football team was undefeated, however has not done as well in recent years. The record is as shown:

=Band program= Under Previous direction Gary Funderburk "which is now under direction of Stephan Botchie" has lead The band to be very successful in competitions so far, however it is a relatively small band. Here are the South Carolina Band Directors Association Concert Festival results:
