Close-up Gendai (クローズアップ現代 kurozu appu gendai?), is a social affairs television show on NHK. The program is broadcast Monday thru Thursday 19:30 - 20:00 (NHK General network), 24:10 - 24:36 (NHK BS2). It is also broadcasted on NHK World and NHK World Premium.
