Massimo Brambilla (born 4 March 1973 in Vimercate, Milan) is a former Italian football player.

Club

Grew up in the football academy of Monza, which begins in the first team in 1990–91, disputed the championship Serie C1, and the year after conquering the promotion in Serie B. Stays at Monza two more seasons and a half, two disputed championship series B and series in mid-season C1, when in January 1995 is taken from Reggiana (then in Serie A), so decided to leave his city to go back to play in football that matters.

Reggiana dispute with the mid season, the team relegated to lower division and is purchased from Parma. In the 1995–96 season dispute maximum 26 meetings in league and the next season is always at Parma, but in January, after only 9 attendance, great bench, is purchased outright from Bologna, whose dispute with an excellent second half of season, Collecting 14 presences and the 7th place finish in Serie A.

In the summer of 1997 arrives in Bologna and Roberto Baggio remains somewhat on the sidelines collecting only 2 lengths of the game. In October and then submit to the Turin door that has strong ambitions to go back in Serie A, and the first season in mesh grenade dispute Brambilla 26 matches by putting off 2 goals. The team struggling to take off the bench and Simoni is increasingly at risk until it is excused so later, the team is entrusted to Camolese, which makes it a fixed holder, also gaining a new promotion in Serie A

The following year, something breaks and Camolese not host more continuously, so at the end of the season after only 8 attendance, married the ambitious project of Siena, with the championship game of Serie B winning a historic first promotion to Serie A, the Tuscan club.

Despite everything's fine season is sold to Cagliari in Serie B, dispute the first championship by collecting 40 holder attendance but above all allows the recapture of Cagliari 4 years after the series A. The next season in fourth and is deployed mostly holder from Arrigoni, but from January onwards is used with the dropper and collect a total of 17 attendances in the premier league.

At the end of the season decided to move closer to home by accepting the proposal of Mantua neopromosso in Serie B with ambitions from the middle ranking, but surprised everyone remaining on his head until the break for the holiday season. Subsequently, the team suffers a deterioration of results, but before the end of the championship team will resume conquest and a place in play-offs, which lost the final with the Turin missing the opportunity to climb in series A. The last season with Mantova lives in chiaroscuro collecting 25 presences, but failed to achieve with fellow play-off, not played a league fine for the ten-point difference between the third and fourth runner-up.

In June 2007 his contract expires with the Mantua and July 9, 2007 signing the agreement to return to close his career where he started at Monza.

National

He played in Italy Under-21 which in 1996 won the European championship and took part in the Olympic Games in Atlanta.

Coaching career

In 2011 he obtained UEFA A coaching license, made him eligible to coach Lega Pro teams or below. In 2010–11 season he was the coach of Giovanissimi national under-16 team of Pergocrema .[2]
