Work
As a one of pioneers in extending the language and principles of quantum physics into a new understanding of human consciousness, psychology and social organization, Danah Zohar wrote The Quantum Self, The Quantum Society, and ReWiring the Corporate Brain. This path has led her to write two other ground-breaking books (coauthored with Ian Marshall) SQ - Spiritual Intelligence, The Ultimate Intelligence, and Spiritual Capital: Wealth We Can Live By which constitute work on spiritual intelligence and spiritual capital. [2]
Applying language and metaphors from quantum physics, chaos theory and complexity science and combining them with philosophy, psychology and sociology, Danah Zohar (together with her husband and coauthor Ian Marshall) posit spiritual intelligence (SQ) and spiritual capital as necessary tools to attain sustainability.
Main points of spiritual intelligence (SQ) and spiritual capital concepts [3]
Spiritual intelligence (SQ) is the intelligence with which we access our deepest meanings, purposes, and highest motivations
Spiritual capital reflects what an individual or an organization exists for, believes in, aspires to, and takes responsibility for.
SQ, spiritual capital, and sustainability are crucially linked.
SQ’s sense of meaning, values, and purpose generates spiritual capital. Spirituals capital’s wealth of meaning, values and higher motivation are necessary to sustainable capitalism and sustainable society.
Connection between three kinds of capital (material, social and spiritual) and three major human intelligences (IQ, EQ and SQ):
