Peter Brandvold is an American
western fiction author, who has written more than thirty publishednovels .Born and raised in
North Dakota , Peter Brandvold spent much of his early life riding horses, reading western novels, and watching westernmovies .Brandvold later attended the
University of North Dakota inGrand Forks , and graduated with aB.A. in English. He then wrote for several old westmagazines such as Country Journal andTrue West Magazine , until 1995, when he decided to writeadventure stories. Peter Brandvold also writes under his Frank Lesliepen name , of which he has several published titles in the Yakima Henry series. He has also written two titles forRalph Compton .He is presently working on a
screenplay for his popular 2001 novel, The Romantics.He also co-writes
