Brum Beat

Brum Beat

"Brum Beat" is the name of a magazine about the music within Birmingham, England. It started as "Midlands Beat", by Jim Simpson, who sold it to its latter editor, Steve Morris, who in turn converted it into a website.

It was also a name coined in the late 60's for the many Birmingham beat bands of that time, more recently a myspace page has evolved in the same spirit as the original publication listing new bands, gig dates and events as well as featuring new up and coming Birmingham music.
