The Quads were a new wave band from Birmingham, England, active in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Their 1979 single "There Must Be Thousands" was a particular favourite of the legendary BBC Radio 1 D.J. John Peel; in 2001, he still listed it as one of his all-time favourite records.
