Still upset over the events of the hotel fire, the group decide they should at least make the best of their stay in Cancún. Bryan believes that Carly has a "gift", which would explain why she was able to predict the fire and save their lives. The group decide to go parasailing, at which point Carly has another terrible vision of an upcoming accident. This time, she fails to warn the group in time, and one of the group meets a gruesome fate in front of everyone. Carly realizes that Death is coming back for them because they escaped it once before.

Deaths

Kris: As the group goes parasailing the motor breaks loose and plunges itself into Kris's back, through his stomach, killing him instantly (See Picture).

"Signs:"In the taxi which is driving to the boat hire, Carly draws a picture in her sketch book. That picture is the logo of the motor that kills Kris.

Katie: Katie is in the hospital being treated for shock when she drops her thermometer, causing it to chip and leak mercury. She puts it back in her mouth and realizing that it is leaking, drops it and runs to rinse out her mouth. She then runs to go get a doctor, and accidentally steps on the broken thermometer and falls on a skeleton. The skeleton ribs impale her through her stomach and the skeleton's skull cracks her skull, killing her.

"Signs:"Carly is holding a pen containing red ink. The pen breaks and leaks red ink over her hands.

As accidents continue to happen, Carly decides to visit a local fortune teller. There, she learns that Death does in fact have a design for her and her friends. She remains strong, and attempts to escape Cancún and the nightmare, but the group continue to reach dead-ends as Carly realizes that there may be no escaping Death's design after all. The group find three more survivors of the hotel accident, Gino, Dreena and Jeremy.

Deaths

Gino: The group goes out to sea on a glass bottom boat. A few members of the group go scuba diving. While Gino is swimming under water, a jagged rock splits his oxygen tank open, leaving Gino with no air to breathe. Gino is sent soaring upwards by the huge blast of air coming from his oxygen tank. He goes flying through one of the glass panes of the glass bottom boat and one big shard of glass impales him through the mouth.

"Signs:" There is an ink spot in a book, owned by one of the survivors, which looks like a scuba diver.

Sue Flanders: The group is allowed to leave Cancún and go home. When the group is walking down the tunnel to enter the plane, a fork lift driver below has a heart attack. As the driver falls forward, he pushes a lever which raises the forks into the air. The forks pierce into the tunnel, impaling Sue onto one of the forks.

Dreena: The forklift continues pushing through the tunnel, splitting it in segments. Dreena falls out of the tunnel and lands on the ground below, splitting her skull open.

Jeremy: As part of the tunnel collapses, Jeremy falls with it and smashes his head on part of the tunnel, decapitating him.

Carly and the remaining survivors are trapped in Cancún due to a hurricane stopping any flights leaving there. The friends decide to unwind, but the death of another friend prevents any relaxation.

Deaths

Amanda: The group decide to go swimming. Amanda leaves the hot tub in which the others are in and decides to go into the pool. Whilst Amanda is in the pool, a control pad malfunctions which starts, and causes the automatic pool cover to close. Amanda, being too far under the water at the time, is unable to resurface, and drowns.

Matt: Enraged by Amanda's death, Matt storms off into the streets. As he is running, he unknowingly runs into the path of fire works which exceed temperatures of 1800 degrees. The fire works go off, burning Matt to death.

The conclusion to the comic series, Carly fights to stay alive as Hurricane Jane hits full force. Prepare for a surprise ending that will shock you.

Deaths

Jeff: He and the remaining others are trying to get on a helicopter during a hurricane. He tries to run towards it but as he gets closer, the wind picks up and tilts the helicopter sideways. Before he can move the blades hit him and shreds him to bits.

Detective Garcia: The helicopter that he is in loses control in the high velocity winds and crashes into a building, causing it to explode.

Bryan: He and Carly seek refuge from the storm in a funeral home and they lay in coffins for cover as the windows are blown open from the wind. They keep the coffins partly open for air but when part of the roof collapses, the debris lands on his coffin and seals him in it. Carly is unaware of his predicament and he ends up suffocating in it.

Conclusion: Upon finding Bryan dead, Carly sobs and covers her face with her hands. When she pulls them back she discovers the hotel explosion's pattern etched into her palms. We find out that Carly is the reincarnated Mayan goddess of Fate. She has served as a portal for Death to travel through and that she was never meant to die at all.
