It also includes the part of the community of Notre Dame des Champs formerly in the city of Gloucester. The ward is represented onOttawa City Council byRainer Bloess . The ward was created when the city of Gloucester was amalgamated into the new city of Ottawa. The ward has an area of 31.1 km² and a population of 38,900 (2006 estimate).Population data
