roller coaster atHersheypark in Hershey,Pennsylvania . It was manufactured bySetpoint USA , and was the first interactive ride built in the park. It is located in The Boardwalk at Hersheypark, behind "Tidal Force". It was the second roller coaster of this type to be built afterFlying Super Saturator was built atCarowinds in2000 .The nine cars are capable of holding four riders total: two riders facing forward, and two riders facing backwards. Cars are moved in and out of the ride in groups of three. The course is filled with gentle slopes and turns.
"Roller Soaker" is unique because each rider is given 4 gallons of water which totals 16 gallons of water for each car.The water can be dropped from the car toward park guests waiting in line or over the "Canyon River Rapids" ride. There are also several water cannons which can be fired at riders from individuals on the ground, and several places where guests are guaranteed to get wet by traveling under a waterfall. For guests of the park who do not wish to get soaked, a "dry path" is marked, which is achieved by covering the path with a wide margin to allow for splash.
